Neuqua Valley 6, Lake View 2: Jacob Brindle (two), Tom Terlep, Bryan Ciesiulka, Scott Davis and Tyler Flatt tallied for the Wildcats (7-0-1), while Patrick Doody, Keegan Balle and Pat Kaindl had two assists. Angel Bustamante scored twice for Lake View.
Plainfield Central 2, Wheaton Academy 0: Alvaro Zavala and Logan Spidle found the back of the net for Plainfield Central (5-2), while Gio Delira recorded his fourth shutout in goal.
Oak Park 7, Kelly 0: The Huskies rolled to 5-0-1 thanks to goals from Matt Gebert, Chimela Enogwe (two), Chris Fitch, Jordan Golz and Chris Fitch (three). Ryan Huettel, Jordan Golz, Mat Gebert, Chimela Enogwe, Elias El Mentanni and Nick Gadsby had assists.
Wheaton South 5, Lincoln-Way East 0: Derek Babb earned the shutout with three saves for the Tigers. Alden Morton and Drew Bellmer had two goals, while George Doran added one. Ricky Mungia (two), Nate Fuster (two) and Drew Bellmer had assists.
Morton 1, Mount Carmel 0: Mario Castanon scored the game's lone goal on an assist from Joel Salmeron. Jason Saucedo had five saves in goal for the shutout. Edson Zagal had 14 saves for Mount Carmel (2-2), which is now coached by former Sandburg all-state goalie Katy Boll-Clemens
Marmion 3, Andrew 2 PK: The Cadets captured the shootout 5-4 on the sixth shooter. Andrew (1-3-1) rallied from a 2-0 deficit in the second half on goals from Kevin Hennington and Mike Slaviero.
St. Charles North 6, Rolling Meadows 0: James Reed, Angelo Catalano, Noah Anthony (two), Mike Winhoffer and Joe Stone had goals for the North Stars (5-2). Tim McEnery made one save to earn the shutout.
Lyons 5, Providence 0: Lyons (5-1) led 2-0 at the half and received goals from Kyle Kurfirst, Chris Meingast, Zach Pearsall, Danny Paice and Elliot Borge. Kevin Beglen had the shutout in goal. Providence fell to 4-3.
Lake Zurich 8, Larkin 1: John Pothast (two), Nick Janus (two), Tim Kreutz, Brett Harper, Jack Rathe and Brenden Seeger scored, while Brett Harper (two), John Jordan (two), Tim Kreutz (three) and Jose Corral handed out assists for the Bears (4-2). Tyler Raineri had four saves in goal for Lake Zurich. Alex Sanchez had the lone goal for the Royals.
Downers North 1, West Chicago 0 : AJ Jeffries' fifth goal of the season with eight minutes to play was the difference. Blayne Munar registered the shutout for Downers North (3-1-3). West Chicago fell to 1-3.
Loyola 3, Libertyville 2: Leo Sheridan and Cody Busic had goals for Loyola, while Andrei Alavrez had two for Libertyville. The Ramblers' third goal came via an own goal from Libertyville (1-3).
Lane 3, Maine South 2 PK Ben Hannon and Sam Viola scored for Maine South (3-3-2), which rallied from a 1-0 first-half deficit with two goals in the second half.
Streamwood 3, Oswego 2 OT: Ulises Chavez's goal in overtime was the difference. Alex Perez, who assisted on the game winner, had a goal and two assists. Ulises Manjarrez also scored for Streamwood (2-3-2).
Fenwick 2, Young 1 PK : Mike Jank came up with two big saves in the shootout to help the Friars (4-1) capture the home win. Charlie Cafaro had the lone goal in regulation for Fenwick, while defender Baxter Helm tallied for Young (4-2-1).
Wednesday's result
New Trier 4, Marist 0: Ben Beaver had three goals, and Gavin Craig added the other. Matt Hickey handed out all four assists as John Secaras earned the shutout in goal for the Trevians (3-3-1).
